GIVING

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."  Matthew 9

Honduras is a country of contrasts: great natural beauty co-exists alongside widespread poverty. Aside from Haiti, Honduras is the poorest country in the Central American/Carribean region. While many people have a superficial knowledge of the gospel, few understand that the Gospel is good news for today. Many people do not know Christ, or have a limited understanding of the abundant life in Christ. They live in poverty, sickness, and hopelessness.

Short term trips are a great way to introduce yourself or your church to the unique culture and challenges of Honduras. Please contact me via email for information on current needs, but there is always room for people who want to serve food, pray for the sick, lend medical expertise, or simply read to a child.

Financial donations do make a difference! I am currently using offerings for  various projects, such as food distribution, teaching supplies, and library books.
