For your trivial pursuit, I am offering a quiz on basic facts about Honduras. Your answers will be anonymous, so resist the temptation to look up the answers on Wikipeda, and answer the questions as best you can.
Grap a cup of coffee, or head to the nearest Espresso Americano (only available in Honduras!) and answer away.
Correct answers will be posted in a few days. So take your quiz while you can. If you receive this blog as an email, you will have to click on the link to see the quiz.
Prizes? None. I am a missionary in a third world country. What did you expect? A new BMW?
This quiz is being offered for a limited time only as an anniversary tribute to the anniversay of Mel Zelaya's offing to Costa Rica last summer. Happy anniversay, Senor Zelaya!

Hi, I'm stopping by from SITS. I don't think I'll take your quiz, because I'm too darned ignorant and don't think I'd get anything right. I've read through your last few posts. Life certainly must be challenging and interesting. All the best.
Hi Laurie, thanks for stopping over via SITS. What an amazing life you must lead. My older brother had the privilege of visiting Honduras while he was in medical school. It was a life changing experience for him.
I so admire individuals like yourself who devote their lives to helping others.
I voted and I fear my ignorance ruled the day.
I think of you whenever I hear the reports on Alex's projected path. Hoping it doesn't make life more difficult.

Love the coffee crowd painting amiga! Muy Bueno!
Geez Laurie, No BMW. Ok I'll settle for you photoshopping my big butt on top of a burro. Let me know when i win. Jan in Mississippi
Great Posting! I'm going to share this one on the The Roatan Vortex Show on Roatan Radio...when the results are in. Can't wait to see how it goes.
Excellent way to commemorate saying good-bye to you know who.
Kim, Honduras is a small country that is very poor. Most people know very little about the place. Don't sweat it.
Karen, glad your brother had a good experience here in H.
Single and Sane, as you know now, Alex is pummelling the Yucatan, then will probably take a second punch at Mexico later during the week.
Calyspo. not a bad mural for a franchise restaurant/cafe, eh?
Jan! I would never do that to you. I think you are nice! If I had a BMW, I would consider letting you drive it for a few hours.
Vortex, I am checking out your blog later today. What I have seen thus far is very creative and interesting stuff.
